(opportunity)
Wells Construction was thriving in the exploding Denver housing market but lacked public visibility due to the absence of a formal visual identity. I collaborated with the founder and a select group of internal stakeholders to create an entirely new brand suite and marketing strategy for their business, helping to grow the business into a legitimate market competitor in a highly competitive industry.
(approach)
The project's success hinged on a foundational logo suite and a comprehensive company brand platform focused on enhancing business visibility and marketing potential. I accomplished this through extensive conceptual ideation and a closely collaborative design partnership with the client team.
01 / Brand & identity
(exploring possibilities)
The project started with an extensive exploration phase aimed at aligning our design direction and setting a unified trajectory based on the client's aspirations and desired outcomes. What resulted was a bold logo suite with the "W" in Wells emerging as the defining identity of Wells Construction, becoming the new face of the company.

02 / Brand implementation
(implementation)
Upon finalizing the logo set, my attention shifted towards brand implementation and marketing strategy. It was crucial to develop a well-thought-out plan for effectively utilizing the new identity. I strategically identified direct action opportunities for growth and expansion to showcase services and broaden the business's reach.
03 / Brand application & Advertising
The ubiquitous on-site neighborhood presence of each project was a highly underutilized opportunity for the company, so I helped develop various brand and marketing materials to better equip and grow the business. I also advised the administrative team on best practices in using the new system, in both day-to-day work and as the company grew.
